GaijinPot Expo 2024 is the sixth edition of the leading showcase for companies looking to hire foreign employees, along with those showcasing their products and services.

We had a record-breaking turnout last year, with over 35 exhibiting companies and foreign entrepreneurs and 822 attendees and expect even higher attendance this year.

Who will be there?

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet a diverse group of employers actively looking to hire. Exhibitors will also be offering a variety of foreigner-friendly services—such as those from advanced education, language schools, real estate agencies, the travel industry and more.

The event will also be a great place to connect with other foreigners and meet some new friends as well as share experiences.

Activities

Hasebe Administrative Lawyer’s Office will be at the Expo to help with questions about visa procedures and other legal matters for foreigners living in Japan! Just head to the Lawyer Support Desk (marked on the map) at 12:00 or 14:30 to book your spot for a free 15-minute consultation—first come, first served.

We will also be holding the second edition of the GaijinPot Expo Art Contest, following the huge success of last year’s inaugural event.

We also have a lot of giveaways and prize drawings planned, so come join us for a fun day out!

Foreigner Entrepreneurs

Due to popular demand, we will also be holding our second annual campaign to support foreign nationals who run their businesses in Japan. Come meet the following foreign entrepreneurs: Borderless Studios, Free TALK TEFL, Heartful Psychotherapy, MATCH Tokyo, Nippon Bridge and USA Girl Scouts.

How to join

To attend the Expo you need to register for a ticket.

Admissions are divided into 2 groups:
12:00 to 15:00 and 14:00 to 17:00

Please choose ONLY ONE time slot.

Prohibited Activities

• Assaulting, threatening or otherwise behaving inappropriately toward any event staff, exhibitors or attendees;
• Discriminatory conduct of any nature whatsoever, including slurs of racial, religious, ethnic, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender;
• Bullying and/or acts of hatred toward any event staff, exhibitors or attendees;
• Selling food, beverages or any other products or service;
• Solicitation of money, contributions, or donations; 
• Distribution of commercial advertising or promotional material of any kind, or other products or services;
• Offering samples of items which are sold, available for sale, or available in exchange for a donation or contribution;
• Conducting any other commercial or business transactions without prior written consent;
• Smoking within the venue;
• Tampering with, damaging or defacing any displays or equipment, including on exhibitors’ booths or anywhere in the venue;
• Interfering with the activities of the event staff, exhibitors or attendees;
• Holding performances or speeches, or playing music or other recordings not previously approved in writing by the event organizers, with or without the use of loudspeakers or other amplification devices;
• Any other activities deemed inappropriate by the organizers of the Expo

Anyone found in violation of the above rules will be required to leave the event

Audio and Visual Recording; Live Streaming

Photographs and/or audio-visual footage may be taken and/or live-streamed during (part of) the event. Photos and videos can be published on GPlusMedia websites and social media pages. Photos and videos may also be recorded and can be reproduced in various media including websites, social networks, and press. By attending the event, you agree you may appear in published photos and/or videos as stated above.

Cancellation

Events can be cancelled at the discretion of the organizer. If the Event is cancelled, the Event organizer will have no liability nor responsibility for any costs (including any travel or accommodation costs) whatsoever incurred as a result of cancellation.
