Prize Details and Conditions

• Two winners will receive a complimentary two-night stay for themselves and a guest with breakfast and VIP amenities at the Hilton Niseko Village.
• Breakfast and taxes are included.
• Yotei View Room
• Transfer Arrangement: Hilton Niseko Village will make every effort to organize airport transfers to the hotel for the winners and their guests. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of specific transfer times or providers.
• Valid for one year from the date of the prize announcement to the following year, excluding blackout periods (White Season, Japanese holidays, including Obon and other dates). Winners should confirm the exact dates with the Hilton Niseko Village.
• All incidental costs and expenses are the sole responsibility of the prize winners and their guests, where applicable.
• The winner and their guests will be requested to participate in a social media promotion related to their stay at the Hilton Niseko Village, mainly involving sharing some images and videos of their experience for use on GPlusMedia’s social media platforms, as related to the promotion of the Hilton Niseko Village and the Green Season.

Eligibility and How To Enter

• The contest is open to anyone 20 years or older at the time of entry.
• Limit of one entry per person.
• To enter, fill out and submit the online contest entry form.
• You must provide a valid email address to enter the contest.
• If selected as the winner, you must provide proof of identity matching the contact information in the entry form.

Entry Period

August 20, 2024 to September 13, 2024 (Japan Standard Time)

Winner Notification

Winners will be notified by email within five business days of the last day of the contest, with instructions for contacting the Hilton Niseko Village reservations desk to claim their prize. A physical voucher will not be issued.

If a selected entrant does not respond to GaijinPot within seven (7) business days of notification, they will be disqualified and will not receive a prize, and another entrant may be selected at the sole discretion of GPlusMedia.

Terms and Conditions

These rules are the standard Terms and Conditions applicable to the Contest (“Contest”) to be administered by GPlusMedia Inc. (“GPlusMedia”), which owns and operates GaijinPot. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law. Entry in the Contest constitutes acceptance of these Contest Rules (the “Contest Rules”).

Prize Acceptance

The prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, substituted or redeemed for cash.

Prize Liability

GPlusMedia shall not assume any liability for lost, damaged or misdirected prizes.

Costs and Expenses

All incidental costs and expenses (“Expenses”) not specifically referred to as part of the prize description are the sole responsibility of the prize winner and/or guest(s), where applicable. The winner shall not seek reimbursement for Expenses from GPlusMedia or its associates.

Participation Agreement

By participating in this contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by the Contest Rules. Entrants further agree to be bound by the decisions of GPlusMedia, which shall be final and binding in all respects. GPlusMedia reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant found to be: (a) violating the Contest Rules; (b) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the contest, the Contest website, or any related promotional website; (c) violating GPlusMedia’s terms of service, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines; and/or (d) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. If applicable, winners (and guests, if applicable) must always behave appropriately when participating in the prize and observe the Contest Rules and any other rules or regulations in force at any prize-related locations.

Contest Modification and Termination

GPlusMedia reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to terminate any Contest, in whole or in part, and/or modify, amend or suspend a contest, and/or the Contest Rules in any way, at any time, for any reason without prior notice.

Release and Confirmation

The Contest winner(s) confirms his or her (i) eligibility for the contest and compliance with these Contest Rules; (ii) acceptance of the prize as offered; (iii) release of GPlusMedia and its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates and/or related companies and each of their employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, administrators, licensees, representatives, advertising, media buying and promotional agencies (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense arising out of participation in the contest, participation in any contest-related activity or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, including but not limited to costs, injuries, losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light, or from any claims of third parties arising therefrom.

Indemnification by Entrant

By entering this contest, each entrant releases and holds the Releasees harmless from any liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the entrants or any other person, including personal injury, death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, participation in the contest, any breach of the Contest Rules, or in any prize-related activity. Each entrant agrees to fully indemnify Releasees from any claims by third parties relating to the contest without limitation.

Limitation of Liability

GPlusMedia assumes no responsibility or liability for lost, late, unintelligible/illegible, falsified, damaged, misdirected or incomplete entries, notifications, responses, replies, or for any computer, online, software, telephone, hardware or technical malfunctions that may occur, including but not limited to malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of an entry. GPlusMedia is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest, or any technical or human error that may occur in the contest’s administration. GPlusMedia assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries. GPlusMedia is not responsible for any problems, failures or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, e-mail, players, or browsers on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, at any website, or on account of any combination of the foregoing or otherwise. GPlusMedia is not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant or any computer related to or resulting from participation in the contest. Entrant assumes liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the contest or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive any prize. GPlusMedia assumes no responsibility or liability in the event that the contest cannot be conducted as planned for any reason, including those reasons beyond the control of GPlusMedia, such as infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or corruption of the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest and/or the Contest website.

Japanese Law

This Contest is subject to applicable Japanese national, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. The Contest Rules are subject to change without notice in order to comply with any applicable national, provincial and municipal laws or the policy of any other entity having jurisdiction over GPlusMedia and/or the Contest. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Contest Rules or the rights and obligations as between the entrant and GPlusmedia in connection with the Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan including procedural provisions without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws.

Act on The Protection of Personal Information

• Personal information provided by the participant will be safely managed and only be used for the administration and publicity of the Contest, such as to contact participants regarding the Contest, award deliveries, manage entries, and display winning entries. We may also use non-personally identifiable information of participants to generate statistical data.
• Personal information will only be used within the scope permitted by the Personal Information Protection Law, and for no other purposes. The participant acknowledges that any data collected through the Contest (such as EXIF data) will be processed and analyzed as non-personally identifiable statistical information, and may be disclosed to third parties such as sponsoring companies.
• Personal information provided by the participant will not be disclosed to third parties without the participant’s approval, excluding the following purposes: to announce Contest winners, for Contest promotion or to introduce entries; to outsource the administration and publicity of the contest to subcontractors; and when required by law.
• Personal information provided by the participant will be shared and used within the following scope.
